New years resolution

I just posted about Derek's nerdiness so it seems fitting that I post about my own.
I got some pinking shears for Christmas and chomping at the bit to test those babies out I launched straight into a project last night.



I got so carried away with the awesomeness of the piping I was putting on this collar that I forgot/neglected to read the instructions.
The piping does look awesome but it's not supposed to be a one piece collar. It's two bits. Not one. Two.
So many layer of fabric to unpick. Now to start on the fixing,
The resolution being, don't sew tired, and don't endeavor to start something at 11pm without reading intructions. It's quite clear at 7 in the morning it's two pieces. Grrrrrr
