we got some tickets to go see a production of Wombat Stew. based on the book. We are looking pretty excited here, but then we went in... Sebastian had seen a puppetshow earlier in the day at preschool and had been pretty terrified by a talking clam with a very deep voice... Sebastian sat on my lap the whole time during the play, for the first twenty minutes with his hands over his ears or eyes alternatively. He was very worried about some eyes that were lights in a hole in the gum tree, that something would pop out. We checked with the stage manager that nothing would pop out, nope nothing going to pop out. He eventually warmed up, not enough to sit on his own seat but thoroughly enjoyed the show. it was a lovely date with my favourite Sebastian! a night at the theatre!
