1st time movie goer, long time buzz fan

I forgot I had taken this photo a few months ago when Sebastian went to his first movie with Derek. Toy Story 3. He wore his buzz pajama pants, a buzz tshirt, watch and LGM jumper. He was wearing the full kit.
There were mixed reviews about the movie from his perspective, a little bit good and a little bit bad. He stayed for the whole thing and did have a good time.

Buzz the cake

Here is the progress from humble packet mix to the light of a certain 3 year olds life!
It certainly was a hit and he asked about 5 times a day to have another look at the buzz cake before it got eaten today. We have some left over buzz face I will say I was pretty chuffed and surprised at how it turned out. Hopefully this one will go in the Lane family book of cakes. Thanks Jen for the food colouring texta and the skin colour food colouring.

March

March has seen the demise of the day sleep. I think this picture might be the last one infact - we went in to find him with his cat pillow asleep in his tent on the wooden floor. Buzz Also continues to be a favourite - Here is Sebastian all dressed up in a Buzz costume kindly lent from his friend Noah - we had to give it back that day. Its been a bit hot to wear a full polyester suit much. He actually reminded me today that we hadnt written his name on Buzz' shoe like Andy has on his Buzz - so out came the permanent texta.
Watch this space for a Buzz lightyear cake. I have been talking to my cake development team in sydney and I think I have it covered...

has your mind been melded?

Elliot arrived bearing gifts for his big brother. A buzz lightyear toy, it could not have been received more warmly. Buzz goes everywhere - the makers of this particular toy have done an excellent job creating a very robust doll, who can tolerate dropping and throwing off the balcony " Buzz can fly Mummy!"
The second time Sebastian came to the hospital to see us his first pronouncement was "has your mind been melded?" which is what buzz says regularly!
