Maybe school has changed since I was there? But don't you think 10 lead pencils and 4 erasers is a little excessive? Can you ever remember a time you fully used up a pencil or an eraser? Maybe his new teacher eats them for morning tea?

At least you get sent pencils and stuff!! We get the joy of a trip to Big W with every other crazy mother on the first day back at school - sooo fun. just as a side point yes teachers are known for eating pencils sometimes you just don't get to the staffroom for recess.
