I've been slack lately, partly cause Instagram is taking over. But for those of without such technology here's a little catch up

I had had a particularly bad morning which now I can't even remember what the source of angst was - children getting ready for school related I'm sure. I went to the fancy new Coles at our local and the deli guy all fresh faced in his new job asked me how my morning was. It was about 10am and all I had done all morning was shout and not even kissed the kids goodbye, so I told the guy, no one ever listens to me or does what I ask, no one is obedient not even one! I've shouted and ce freaked and stomped like rumplestiltskein when his name was called all to no avail. It's been a terrible morning and I'm not very proud of myself, oh. He said and wrapped my purchases quietly, regretting asking the question? Feeling like he had bitten of more than he could chew? He came back with my small goods and my chorizo was on the house. For free, that was his little contribution to making my morning a bit happier, awe! Or maybe he thought that if I beat the children with the chorizo they might behave better, or now as I am writing this it could be the start to magical fairy tale and the chorizo is a magical one that makes anyone who eats it to be a perfectly obedient child. Incapable of doing wrong, hmmmmm risotto tomorrow night with chorizo kids, better, just in case.

Aunty Nell generously gave seb and the boys a keyboard for birthdays and it's well loved! they have been cutting up beats everyday! morning and night! praise God for the headphones!!!!

State of origin 1, Elliot tried but didn't make it to the end,

Don't you love a photo booth at a wedding? Well we go to lots so, yes I do love a photobooth, but then I get shy and just stand there like a fool. This photo booth was called John Wilkes.

Sight words have come home from school and Elliot is loving it, he has mastered 27% and counting! I can't wait til he can read! boy oh boy will we have some good chats then. He's been home all week with scarlet fever. Imagine if he could have been reading all that time!
Elliot struggles with school, not the school work itself or the kids but I'm pretty sure his teacher doesn't like him, infact 98% certain! he knows it, I know it. It doesn't make me feel kindly toward her much, I'm thinking of a personalised mug of one of Elliot's sweetest smiles on it saying why don't you like me? Too much?
He doesn't like school cause he gets put in time away thinking time all the time, perhaps it should be called Elliot's corner instead " go to your corner Elliot certainly would save a lot of time during the day rather than saying "go to time away thinking time Elliot"
The problem is she often forgets he is supposed to go there and he sneaks away or doesn't go there in the first place. Oh dear, we have been trying to talk to him about how sometimes in life some people just don't like you and that's ok, you just have to get on with it and know that loads of other people love you. And being kind to people even when they don't like us or be kind to us. Hard lessons for kindy.
thank you from those of us without instagram
