A few bites and pieces

Did I mention we had a Japanese teenager stay for 10 days, he was lovely and the kids adored him, Tristan would call his name whenever we got home from being out to see if he was here. This is us introducing him to porridge. He liked it - he said it was the closest thing he'd had to rice. This was a $10 bowl of porridge, that tasted like rice, that was worthwhile wasn't it! This was a hipster cafe where I felt out of place without a bushmans beard, black rimmed glasses and a 80s knitted jumper.

Here is T hanging out with some of his buddies at biblestudy and church

He and L like to take turns hiding in that little spot

And a picnic that turned into a sleepover with two of our favourite kids.

- I wrote this somewhere
