I fear Elliot in his people pleasing ways is trying to learn the currency of his teacher who clearly his disdain for him, it's two fold, being a boy, and being a big personality. So this week he sat and concentrated really hard to write sentences to take to her and show her and then he might get a certificate.
He forgot all about it and so the sentences are stuck on the fridge. While I find it frustrating that she doesn't love the loveable Elliot I think it's been a good learning curve (unfortunate to be his first experience of school) that not everybody likes him and that's ok.
Beautiful writing - well done Elliot! Hope it doesn't dampen his personality! Touggh lesson at any age but particularly when so young. Will he get a new teacher next year? (just thought your school year prob runs from Christmas not September - doh!)
