Grandma

My grandma's name is Jean. I am going to visit her this afternoon which is a rare treat. She has been in a nursing home for 18 or so months now and the last time I was close by I had the flu and I think the home was shut for gastro purposes.
I have inherited a lot of things from my grandma. The mcalpine constitution, her love of shoes, her looks.
I got a brooch from my mum that was grandma's when they had to clean out the house when they( grandparents) went into the nursing home. It Is a j, a capital 'j' something else we share. I am going to wear it today when i go visit her. Turns out I might be a sentimental old thing.
