A new pet

Elliot loves animals, he is always asking for a cat or a rabbit or more chickens( I'm only consenting to buying the frozen plucked kind) or fish. But yesterday he spent the morning with a lovely friend and they did some gardening. He came home with new pets, pets he wanted to take to bed with him, pets that Derek found him playing with on the lounge this morning. Pets that metamorphose into my most disliked thing.... Moths

Can you see them there? I'm not sure how many there were/ are. Cabbage moths. Ok so slightly better than brown icky flappy ones. These turn into yellow 'butterflies'
He loves these caterpillars. He says they are soft and comfortable!
They are eating my salad. And they had better stay in their box.
