Here is the guilty evidence. My selfishness knows no bounds. The other night I had gone into the spare room to feed mr T and heard the boys asking for a mango for dessert. Oh no I thought I had my greedy little chops set on that mango. My greedy little heart sank as I heard Derek go to the fridge and get it. I thought I'd missed out. Until yesterday when I was feeling low and I looked in the fridge and there in a plate covered in glad wrap was a generous portion of that mango ( nb there was still an entire mango in the fridge drawer- I just thought I'd missed out on that mango)
My patient husband who knows of my greed and selfishness cut thin cheeks off the mango for the boys and left the seed with lots of pleasant yellow juicy flesh on it for me. Isn't that love?
I would eat a mango every day. If I could afford it. (See previous plans about growing a mango tree)
I'm sure that it was not an apple on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that eve took it was a mango - that's what brought sin and selfishness into the world.
I will have to floss my teeth tonight so the mango hounds don't notice the evidence in my mouth.
I dunno Jacqui, I think after that last post about making dinner with one hand, you earned that mango!
