If you had come to Sebastian's assembly this morning this is all you would have seen of him. A Thai flag held in front of his face.
His class was performing a hello song in lots of different languages but Sebastian wanted no part of it. He was flat refusing. He said it was a baby prep song and he wasn't going to sing it. We had a chat about how sometimes you just had to do things that you didn't want to do and you would survive and life would go on and you just have to suck it up. Great pep talk mum!
So he got up on stage with the grumpiest look on his face then promptly hid behind the flag he was holding for the entirety of the song. He participated. He sucked it up, albeit grumpily.
He had a point thou, it was a lame baby prep song and I wouldn' t have been caught dead performing it.
