A surprise

Sort of, I'm not surprised that my husband can be incredibly thoughtful and plan wonderful things for me, I'm not surprised cause he had to tell me the date and get me there, I'm not surprised cause he asked me to look over a list of invites and I'm not surprised at his consideration of what would be a lovely day for me cause he knows me so well.



What did surprise me was the bubble of excitement that came to my tummy as I headed to an unknown destination, how much I enjoyed my morning in the perfect sunshine with lovely friends, what good decaf affogatos dandelion and driftwood makes and how much I enjoyed a birthday celebration when the last two years have been miserable.
All pleasant surprises. So happy birthday me a month early celebrating incase Someone else is making their birthday debut on that day.
