Cruising.

I took Elliot to a birthday party down at port side on Saturday. All the way along the river I was saying to him look at that massive boat! He couldn't see it! When we got there I pointed it out to him and flabbergasted he says - oh wow that is a big boat!
He was a bit worried out the life boats if they would be big enough to take everyone on board. I told him it was a common concern but I was pretty sure there was some legislation to cover that sort of thing nowadays

  1. you can assure him that since the Titanic it is a requirement that there is enough to carry all passengers and that you have to have a life craft drill just like the drills you get on a plane except you do not get into the boats. Also everyone has to have a life jacket when they get into the boats.
